Cassi Alexandra is an independent documentary and portrait photographer whose work focuses on healing. She was born and raised in Florida where she graduated from Southeast Center of Photographic Studies and The University of Central Florida with Bachelor’s in Photography. She began her career at The Orlando Sentinel in 2009, and quickly after became a contributor for The New York Times. After graduating she gained valuable experience at The Flint Journal in Michigan and then moved to Brooklyn
